The mission of the Garrett Memorial Library is to enhance and enrich the lives of the people of the Moulton Community. By virtue of its collection, services and programs, the library will continually strive to be an information, recreation, and lifelong learning center to the people it serves.
Primary Roles- Popular Materials Center
The library will strive to feature current, high demand, high interest materials in a variety of formats for persons of all ages and to actively promote and encourage the use of its collection.
Secondary Roles- Reference Library
The library will actively provide timely, accurate, and useful information for community residents in their pursuit of job-related and personal interests and promote on-site as well as telephone or e-mail reference/information services to aid users in locating needed information.
The library will promote and use technology to meet the current and future information needs of all members of the community by providing increased access to information resources that all may continue lifelong learning.
The Garrett Memorial Library will implement information technologies to enhance its collections and services, and to assure equitable access for the Moulton Community to information in electronic formats.
